According to the Law, one person is not allowed to possess a couple of PAN cards. Check Your PAN Card is Active or Not?

The entire procedure is not that complicated, and you can check the status of your PAN card directly from your Smartphone. - Your Surname and first name
- Date of birth
- PAN card number

Know the PAN Card Status: Active or Invalid
Step 1: To check whether the PAN card is active or not, first visit the Income Tax website at incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in.
Step 2: On the home page, under ‘Services’ choose ‘Know your PAN.’
Step 3: Here, enter the Surname, First name, select the status of the card, Gender, Date of birth. At last, provide the valid mobile number to get the One Time Password (OTP). You don’t necessarily need to give the middle name to check PAN card status.
